Services We Offer

Family Caregiver Training & Support

Supporting families is a vital part of our mission. Emerge North provides a variety of educational and empowerment programs aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of rights, options, and opportunities. These programs are designed to empower individuals and families, helping them make informed decisions about their lives. We offer workshops, training sessions, and resources on a wide range of topics, from emotional support, self-advocacy to navigating the intellectual disability and community systems. Our team understands the complexities of caregiving and is dedicated to ensuring that families feel supported and empowered.

Behavioral Support

At Emerge North, we believe in a holistic approach to care, addressing the physical, emotional, and social aspects of well-being. Our services are innovative and designed to meet the evolving needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities. We offer a range of programs that are personalized and flexible, ensuring that each person receives the support they need to thrive. Our goal is to enhance overall wellness and quality of life, empowering individuals to reach their full potential.

In-Home and Community Supports

In-Home and Community Supports will be provided mainly to assist the individual to maintain and improve the skills necessary to live in the community, to live more independently, and to participate meaningfully in community life. This includes promoting good physical and emotional health and wellness, managing and scheduling medical appointments, assisting with managing locating a private home, paying bills, routine home maintenance, safety and socialization.

Community Integration and Social Capital

We believe that everyone deserves to be an active participant in their community. Our community integration services are designed to encourage social inclusion, support and build social capital. We organize activities and events that help individuals with intellectual disabilities connect with others, develop friendships, and participate in and be active members of the community. These programs not only enrich the lives of our individuals but also promote understanding and acceptance within the broader community.

Companion Services

Emerge North will provide companion service based on the service level needed to support individual to meet their health and safety needs at home or in the community. Also, direct support staff will assist individuals with locating, planning, and participating in activities of their choosing. Direct support staff may also assist individuals with basic self-help activities for their safety; grooming, personal hygiene, decision making, exercising, household chores, and meal preparation.
